Renee Campbell, CSW is a certified social worker in Kentucky.
Ms. Campbell received her bachelor’s degree from Kentucky State University and her master’s degree from University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work. She also earned her doctorate in education from Spalding University and a women’s leadership certificate from Cornell University. Ms. Campbell has practiced for over 20 years in the areas of education and social work with an emphasis on domestic violence, education, anti-racism, social justice, and healthy relationships. Ms. Campbell has also taught at numerous colleges and universities. Ms. Campbell is a Reiki 1 certified practitioner and is currently studying energy medicine at Bellarmine University. Ms. Campbell is a member of Phi Delta Kappa International Honor Society and Phi Alpha International Honor Society.
Ms. Campbell’s passion extends to West Africa where in 2005 she was appointed Sub-Chief by the Tolon Traditional Council in the village of Tolon, Ghana. During her time in Ghana, she implemented an international educational scholarship program for children kindergarten through the eighth grade, providing them with school fees, uniforms, and school supplies.
Ms. Campbell believes in the mind and body connection and that people have the ability and inner strength to heal themselves and reach their highest potential. Ms. Campbell provides therapy to ages 6 and up for individuals, couples and especially families using a variety of treatment approaches that include, but are not limited to cognitive therapy, client centered, and solution focused. The therapy process can include treating issues such as low self-esteem, lack of confidence, intimate partner/domestic violence issues, communication challenges, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, behavioral issues, anger, relationship stress, multi-cultural issues and a variety of other concerns.
Ms. Campbell is a daughter, mother of three adult children, and has five grandchildren. She enjoys designing and making jewelry, sewing, dancing, traveling, and donating her time to national and international causes.
