Brandie Grisham, LMFT

Brandie Grisham, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Kentucky.

Ms. Grisham received her bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Louisville and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy as well as a master’s degree in divinity (with courses in pastoral counseling) from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Ms. Grisham has multiple years of clinical experience working in a variety of outpatient and inpatient mental health programs including home/school-based therapy, mental health inpatient hospital, substance use residential treatment, and community mental health. She provides treatment as early as prenatal and treats ages birth through the lifespan. She has experience treating a spectrum of concerns ranging from but not limited to: anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, abuse, trauma, life stress, grief, behavioral and emotional difficulties, relationship matters, and sexuality.

Ms. Grisham provides support and assistance for individuals and families trying to break stressful life patterns and helps them discover healthy new ways to relate to the world around them. Ms. Grisham offers companionship on the journey and uses an assortment of therapeutic interventions to assist with meeting treatment goals which include but are not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solution focused therapy, attachment theory, motivational interviewing, parent child interactive therapy, theraplay, positive parenting techniques, and child parent psychotherapy. Ms. Grisham is also in the process of training for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Ms. Grisham delights in taking her fur-baby on hikes in the forest and walks in parks. She also enjoys movies, reading, traveling the world, board games, and spending time with friends and family.
