Greg Lynch, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with a health service provider designation in Kentucky.
Dr. Lynch earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Emory and Henry College in Emory, Virginia. After working in farming and real estate for 15 years, he returned to school to study psychology. He completed both his master’s degree and doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Louisville. He completed his pre-doctoral internship with East Kentucky Rural Internship Consortium with Kentucky Rivers Community Care and Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Psychiatric Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky. He completed his postdoctoral internship in a private practice setting in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a member of the Kentucky Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Lynch takes an integrated approach to treatment and assessment, which may include but not be limited to therapies such as: cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanistic. He has completed numerous assessments over the years with children (starting at age three), adolescents, and adults. His therapy experience is primarily with individuals age 18 and up. Dr. Lynch also provides developmental, psychological, and psychoeducational testing to assist with providing a diagnosis and developing treatment recommendations for patients. He is experienced in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar mood disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anger issues, behavioral disorders, and oppositional behavior.
Dr. Lynch is married. He has one daughter and two granddaughters. He enjoys music, reading, and poker.
