Ms. Nicole Hughes, CSW is a certified social worker in Kentucky. She is under the supervision of Mr. Brad Goebel, LCSW.
Ms. Hughes earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Kentucky and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Kentucky. She completed internships with Sacred Heart Model School, Kentucky Refugee Ministries, The Salvation Army and The Refuge Clinic. Ms. Hughes holds a certificate in Diversity and Inclusivity from the University of Kentucky, was a member of the University Scholars Program, and holds a certification in School Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She is certified in the Seven Challenges substance abuse program for adolescents and trained in collaborative assessment and management of suicide (CAMS Care).
Ms. Hughes takes a holistic and empathetic approach to providing treatment to her patients and utilizes creative and compassionate treatment modalities when working with clients. She also provides professional care and treatment for children (starting at age four), adolescents, teens, adults, families, and couples. She has experience in treating anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, ADHD, grief, autism spectrum disorders, family concerns, bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance abuse etc. Ms. Hughes creates personalized treatment plans to meet the needs of each patient and provides evidence-based and trauma-informed therapy to help her patients get better.
Ms. Hughes enjoys taking care of her many houseplants, running, cooking, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.
